Oral language and academic proficiency are tested.
Students receive instruction in gaining their second language in the regular classroom through SIOP and ESL trained teachers.  (Immersion model)

Services are determined by an ARD Committee.

Special Education Identification
Students served under the Individuals with Disabilities Act.
Students are identified through an assessment and evaluation process, following guidelines and procedures.
Students meet eligibility through several areas of disability and are eligible based upon annual ARD meetings.
Services are specially designed to meet their individual needs.

Talented and Gifted Program
Approximately 8%-10% of student population is Talented and Gifted.
After evaluation students are determined eligible by a committee and continue throughout unless significant academic difficulties show a need for a furlough or dismissal.
Students will receive extra enrichment activities at the elementary level, and Pre-AP and AP classes at the secondary level.
